"Victory and Defeat" Philadelphia, PA - 10/29/2008 Phillies Catcher Carlos Ruiz and Pitcher Brad Lidge celebrate winning the 2008 World Series. The Rays pinch hitting Eric Hinkse heads to the dugout striking out to end the game and the Series. The Phillies won game 5 by a score of 4-3 and the Series 4-1. The game had been stopped two days earlier, in the 6th inning with the score knotted at 2-2. When the match resumed, it was a 3 1/2 inning sprint finish. Game 5 was the only postseason game ever suspended due to weather.
